He was born August 21, 1939 in Ottawa, Kansas to Ivan and Antoinette (Tony) 
Foland.   Tony died in 1944, and Ivan re-married to Artie Steward.

On July 21, 1967 Robert's first son, Robert Foland Jr., was born.

In 1977 he married Candace Donnell and they adopted Anthony (Tony) Foland who 
was born 2/21/1986.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Candace (Donnell) Foland; sons Robert 
Foland Jr. (wife Patrice, and daughter/only grandchild Cassie) and Tony Foland 
and his finance Keshia; his sister Lois Schaap;

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Tony; step-mother, Artie; 
brother and sister-in-law, Max and Anita Steward.
