Kathleen was born in Strome, Alberta on April 14, 1919.  

After earning her degree and teaching for some time in Canada, she moved to the 
United States.

She met and married her husband Bill Frantilla in 1953.

Kathleen became a US citizen in 1957.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, daughters Enid and Anne (Peter)
Yates.
