Frank was born January 2, 1921 in Portland, OR to Hyman J. and Ann M. Friedman.

He attended ROTC while in college and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in
June 1942.    His unit landed in France shortly after D-Day and participated in
the Battle of the Bulge.   He left the service in 1946 as a Captain.

On December 1, 1942 he married Nancy Berliner.

He is survived by his son Scott; brother Norman (Joan).

He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy.
