Funeral services were Saturday for Edith F. Friend, 321 Morris Avenue S., 
Renton.  She died Thursday in a Renton rest home at the age of 88.  Mrs. 
Friend was born in nanaimo, B.C., in 1886.  She lived in Renton most of her 
life - 65 years in the same house.  Her husband George died in 1954.  Mrs. 
Friend was a charter member of Renton Eagles Auxiliary 1722.  She is survived 
by severeal nieces and nephews.

EDITH FRANCES HUNTER was born April 21, 1885 in Nanaimo, British Columbia, 
Canada, and died May 02, 1974 in Renton, King, WA.  She married GEORGE HENRY 
FRIEND December 06, 1902 in Nanaimo, B.C., Canada, son of JOHN FRIEND and 
ESTHER JENKINS.  He was born November 25, 1875 in Gloucester, England, and 
died December 16, 1954 in Renton, King, WA.
