Jo was born on April 27, 1918 in Livonia, Michigan to Louis and Elizabeth 
Bensacon.

She married her college sweetheart George in 1944.  He preceded her in death in 
2006.

She is survived by her children Fred Gargett (Margie), John Gargett (Patricia), 
Mark Gargett (Pam) and George Gargett (Judy).   She is also survived by her 
sister Lucille and brother Fred.   Her brother Leonard died in 1940.
