Betty was born August 8, 1918 in Tacoma to Elmer and Nanna Bender.

She married Gene George on December 20, 1941, they had three children Richard, 
Susan (Merry) and Marilyn (Gregory).  Richard (Dick) passed away in 2011.

She is survived by her husband Gene, and Susan and Marilyn.
