Betty was born September 25, 1927 to Welch Thurston Cox and Cordelia Strader Cox
in Quanah, Texas.

She married Roger Gibson in June 1945 at a USO dance.   He was serving in the
Army Air Corps.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roger.

She is survived by children Pam (Jim) Murray, John (Amy) Gibson, Barbara (Steve)
Pollard, Jennifer (Kevin) White; and her sister Billie Witt.
