Joseph was born on May 5, 1929 to Leroy and Lena Hall of Chamberlain, SD.

He served in the Merchant Marines and then enlisted in the US Navy, commissioned
as an Ensign upon completion of flight school.   He remained in the Naval
Reserve retiring as a Commander in 1970.

He is survived by his wife Rowena; children Michael Hall (Evelyn), Jennifer
Zager (Kurt) and Rachael Gruber (Mike).

He was preceded in death by his son Stephen Hall.
