Waymon was born in 1926 in Parks, Arkansas.

He served in the US Navy during WWII on the U.S. Prometheus in the Pacific.

He married Ethel (Dyer) Aley in 1946, and she died in 1985.   In 1987 he married
Jeannette (Gunderson) Applegate, deceased in 2007.

He is survived by sister Isabelle Lewis; stepson Bill Aley (Sue); daughter
Ethelyn Zuvela (Jim).
