Stanley was born October 16, 1942 in Cornell, Wisconsin to Letty and Herb Hill.

He joined the US Navy and served as an officer for four years, part of the time 
in Viet Nam.

He met and married Barbara McDowell on June 12, 1971 and had two children - 
Bryan (1973) and Laura (1976).

Stan is survived by his son Bryan (Julia), daughter Laura (Keithy Loucks), 
brother Brad (Diana), sister Marilyn (Paul Klei).
