Isabel was born in Osborne, Kansas to Lena and Arthur Baumgartner.   (No 
date given)

She served in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps until 1943. (No beginning 
date was given.)

She married Dr. James D. Hogan (no date given) and they were married until 
he died in 1967.

She served the community in many capacities including Mayor of Kent for 16 
years.   In October 2014 Kent's Russell Road Sports Complex was renamed 
Hogan Park in her honor.

She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Hogan, daughter Sharon Hogan 
and brother Eldon "George" Baumgartner.

She is survived by her son Michael Hogan, daughter Carol (John) VanDongen,  
daughter Barb (Tracy) LaFayette, daughter Judy Hogan, daughter-in-law Lori 
Hogan.
