Earl was born December 4, 1922 in Stillwater, NY to Artemus A. and Rilla Woodard
Hogan.

He was a Lieutenant JG in the Naval Reserve during World War II assigned to the
USS Independence in the Pacific Theater.

Earl is survived by his son Donn, daughter Janet Hogan (Robert Schroeder); and
sister Delight Hogan Cullen.
