Betty was born October 24, 1928 to Kirkwood and Lean (Layne) Eaton in Tacoma, 
WA.

She taught in the Lake Washington School District.  

She is survived by her sister Peggy Ferber; daughters Elizabeth Ripley and 
Winnifred Kennedy.
