The Gilroy Advocate, Gilroy, Santa Clara County, California, April 4, 1914
The remains of Phoebe Ellen Kinney who died at Kent, Washington, March 31,
arrived in Gilroy last Saturday, and were interred on Sunday in the Masonic
cemetery.  She was a sister of Wm. [sic] Wetmur, the barber, and was aged 63
years.


Additional Comments:
Daughter of Sylvanus Wetmur and Sarah Jane McCarthy; born in New York.  She
married first William Marshall with whom she had son William Marshall (Jr.).  She
later married Newcomb/Newton Kinney and can be found with Newcomb and her son,
William, in the 1910 census, East Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon.

William Marshall (Jr.) is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Morgan Hill, Santa
Clara County, California with his aunt Jennie Wetmur Stephens and her husband,
George Stephens.
