Mary was born December 7, 1925 in Peru, Indiana to Charles Emerson Cunnington 
and Genevieve Zyduch Cunnington.

She is survived by her son Walter (Lorraine) Cummings, daughters Kathy LaVern 
and MaryAnn (Scott) Oakes.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hollis LaVern, son Scott Cummings and 
sisters Linda Cunnington and Sissy Schindler.
