Virginia was born November 25, 1919 in Sioux Rapids, Iowa to Ludvig and Louisa
Kleppe.

She served as an Army nurse in World War II at Walter Reed Army Medical Hospital.

She married Art Lee in 1955, and were married 57 years until his death in 2013.

She is survived by her son Tom (Ruth); daughter Susan (Dean), son Mark (Dori).
