Tor was born to Olof Lundquist and Elvira Ericksson, the oldest of 10 children, 
in Follinge, Sweden.   The family emigrated to America in 1927.

While in the Navy during WWII, he met and married Marion Lorraine Cihlar (a 
Wave teaching Morse Code)on 6/23/1945 in Logansport, Indiana.  They had 3 
children, Greg, Darrel and Linda.

He was predeceased by his wife, Marion in 2001, and son Greg.
