Phyllis was born April 4, 1937 in Rock Island, IL.   She was raised by her 
aunt, Rose Carp after the age of six.

In 1948 Phyllis married John MacKenzie. John was in the US Army, and left soon 
to serve 13 months in Korea.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, children Thomas J. (Jennifer), 
Teresa A. and Pete D; her sister Reeva Clark; and her cousin Sandra Freeman 
Gladstone (Marvin).
