Frank was born in 1922 in Indiana.

During World War II he served in the US Army, serving with the 863 FA 
Battalion of the 63rd Division during which time he was injured and received 
a medical discharge in 1946.

He married Jeanette in April 1948 and remained married until her death in 
2011.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife Jeanette, and daughter Julie; he is 
survived by his sons Eric (Dorothy) and Fred.
