Fuyuko was born November 25, 1926 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Yasuji and Fumi Oye.

She worked at the Canlis Restaurant in Seattle for over 30 years.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jobu Matsuoka; brothers Naoto 
(Miyo) Oye, Thomas Saburo (Suzie) Oye; sisters Ruth Ritsuko Takemoto, May 
Hatsuko Tamura (Robert).

She was predeceased by sister Tamayo Wakasugi and brother David Yoshi Oye.
