Mrs. Anna Mayer, 54, of 10456 Occidental Ave., died Wednesday. Mrs. Mayer was born in Black Diamond and had lived in Seattle most of her life. She was a Boeing Airplane Co. employee for seven years prior to leaving the company three years ago. Survivors: Husband, Clarence B. Mayer; daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Mannion, Seattle; four brothers, Joseph Fusco, Seattle; Steven, Olympia; William, Berkeley, Calif., and John, of Santa Monica, Calif; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Samuels, Tacoma, and Mrs. Mary Androsko, Renton, and three grandchildren. Services: Saturday, 9 a.m., requiem mass, Holy Family Church; burial, Riverton Crest Cemetery under the direction of Yarington's White Center Funeral Home. The family suggests that remembrances may be made in the form of contributions to the Children's Orthopedic Hospital. Parents: John Thomas FUSCO (AKA: FUSKO; FUSHKO)(1872-1946) and Anna PELOT (1876-1914), both immigrating from Slavonia (Austria). Siblings: Mary FUSCO ANDROSKO, John T. FUSCO, Emma FUSCO SHELDON SAMUELS; Rose FUSCO MOSSOP; Stephen George FUSCO; William FUSCO; and Joseph FUSCO. The family moved around following mining jobs. The family was living in Black Diamond, King, WA in 1905; in 1910, they were living in Carbonado, Pierce, WA. The FUSCOs ended up working in Tono, Thurston, WA where Annie lived with her husband Wilbert FRIEND until they moved to Olympia about 1935. She followed her daughter to Seattle, King, WA in 1951 and, subsequently, met her second husband, Clarence MAYER, in Seattle. She was a loving and doting grandmother.
