Donald was born in Astoria, OR on June 13, 1939 to Louis and Alice McGhee.

He retired from Ederer Crane in 2005, and was proud of having been the 
project engineer for the Safeco Field roof.

He married Nina and they had been married 25 years when he died. (No maiden 
name or date were given.)

He was preceded in death by his mother Alice Anderson, stepfather Bob 
Anderson; father Louis McGhee, stepmother Ruth McGhee and brother James 
McGhee who also died of ALS.

Don is survived by his wife Nina, children Pete (Renee), Ronna McGhee, Kelly 
Crawford (Kelly), brother Kenneth McGhee, sister-in-law Pamela McGhee.
