George was born on February, 14, 1921 in St. Louis, MO to George and Ellen
(Cooper) Miller.

During World War II he served in the US Army 289th Engineer Combat Battalion in
France and Germany, then with the 1150th Engineer Combat Group and also with the
7th Army headquartered in Heidelberg, Germany.

He married Kathleen (Kay) Louise King on July 23, 1947.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Mary.   

He is survived by his wife Kay; children Christopher (Barbara) and Kathleen
(Richard).
