Ronald was born in 1936 to Ragnar and Ebba Murk in Seattle.

He married Patsy Kusler in 1969.

Ron is survived by his wife Patsy, sons Ryan and Aaron; sister Lola Gracey, 
and stepdaughter Chris Houghton.
