David was born November 29, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Darlene Ogden and
Junius Nielson.    Both parents had died by the time he was 14, and he was
raised by step-parents Alex Prankard and Helen "Bugs" Warden.

He married Sally Jane Gordon in Logan, Utah.

David was preceded in death by his twin brother Douglas and his sister Diane.

He is survived by his wife Sally; children Eric Nielson (Angela), Christy Van
Orman (Michael), Mark Nielson, Michael Nielson (Lindsey) and Adam Nielson; his
brother Larry Nielson (Debbie) and step-sisters Cathy Sangster (Marty) and Lynda
Gee.
