Daphne was born in Warwick, Australia in 1926.

She met Charles Ohge, an American sailor, in Brisbane and immigrated to the
United States in 1947, as a war bride.

She is survived by her husband Charles; daughters Michele and Melissa.

She was preceded in death by her son Michael.
