John was born June 18, 1947 to John and Sally Pederson in Seattle, WA.

He served in the US Navy in Japan, Vietnam and Hawaii.

In 1971 he married Georgina Cecile Petersen.   She died in 1989.

In 1996 John married Paula Mitchell.

John is survived by his wife Paula; children Kelcey, Jonathan (Melinda),
Georgina; mother Sally; sisters Debbie Brown (Steve), Heidi Gustafson (Gary).
