William was 94 years old when he died.   (No birthdate, location or parents 
were given.)

He served in the 28th Division of the Third Army in Europe from 1943-
1946,awarded the Bronze star as an artillery commander.

He married Carole Helene Earle (Taddy) on December 27, 1941 and they had 
five children.  (Only one is listed by name, Jonathan, who predeceased him.)  
They were married until her death in 1983.   He married Elizabeth Stetson in 
1986 and they were married until her death in April 2013.

He is survived by his sister Mary Funk and by four of his children.
