Douglas was born in 1928 to Therese Murray and Charles Stuart Poage in Portland,
OR.

He served in the US Army during World War II.

Douglas was preceded in death by his wife Jane.

He is survived by children:  Camilla Eyre (Alex), Winslow Poage (Josephine),
Stuart Poage (Karin), Peggy Poage (Brian); brother Jim Poage (Shirley);
sister-in-law Alexandra Boyd Palmer.
