Duane was born on June 30, 1928 to William and Marie Pounds in Minnesota.

He met and married Julie (no maiden name or wedding date given) and they remained 
married for 66 years.   Julie predeceased him in the summer of 2014.   

He is survived by his daughters, Linda Swett (Mick), Sharon Rairden (Tom) and 
Randi Wooden; and by his sisters Eloise Taylor and Kathi Naff, and brother Robert.

In addition to his wife Julie, he was preceded in death by sons Danny and Darren; 
his parents and six siblings.
