Vera was born October 19, 1919 in Brooklyn, NY to Samuel and Rose (Rabinowitz) 
Horowitz.

Her marriage to Eli Rosen in 1941 lasted until his death in 2003.

She is survived by children Jon Howard (Patricia), Peter Frederick (Phyllis); 
siblings Roberta (Martin) Greenfield and Laurence (Jill) Hunter.

She was preceded in death by her sister Eunice Hurtig (Mac).
