Richard was born March 23, 1943 to John and Lois Schneider.

He served in the Coast Guard for two years before becoming a firefighter,
serving 25 years in Seattle, WA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother James and brother-in-law
Stephen Leone.

He is survived by his sister Kathy Leone.
