Donald was 90 at the time of his death.

In 1942 he enlisted in the US Army Air Corps, graduating from Pilot Training 
School in 1944, served in the US and China-Burma-India Theater from 1943-44.   
After receiving honorable discharge, he served in the US Air Force Reserve, 
retiring in 1984 as a Colonel.

In 1945 he married Doris June Keithly in Seattle.

Donald is survived by his wife, Marjorie Alexander; sons Robert, Tom (Gale), 
and daughter Barbara Jo Shay (Gary Trupp).
