Father William Slate was born in Seattle August 16, 1929 along with his twin 
brother, Robert.

He was ordained in 1955.   Father Slate served St. Anne Parish (Seattle), St. 
Ann Parish (Tacoma), Immaculate Conception parish (Arlington), St. Bernadette 
(Burien) and St. John of the Woods (Tacoma).   He retired in 1994.

He is survived by his brother Robert C. Slate (Hortense).
