Lydee was born November 15, 1973 in Eureka, CA to her mother Mardee.

She was a mounted patrol officer for the Seattle Police Department until her 
retirement in 2013.

She is survived by her mother Mardee and stepfather Tom Spaan; her sister Amy 
(Nali) Hamdan, brother Eric Johnson and step-siblings Sahlia and Tyson Spaan.
