Ted was born on January 19, 1939 in Los Angeles, CA.

He served twenty years with the LAPD, retiring as a Detective III.

Ted is survived by his mother Fumiko Taketa; wife Susan; children Brian, Jason
(DaLona), Tiffany, Randy, Laurie, Sherice and Ted.

He was preceded in death by his father William, and brother Ron.
