Born 6/4/1932 in Seattle to Jess L. and Florence Hansen Brainerd.

Married James J. McGinnis, resulting in five children:   Kathleen, Jim, 
Michael, Daniel and Tom.

In 1981 married Morris "Morrie" Spencer Tarte.   He died in 2000.

Survived by her five children and spouses:  Kathleen & Mike Lambert; Jim and 
Michelle McGinnis, Michael and Kim McGinnis, Daniel and Nancy McGinnis, Tom and 
Laura McGinnis, and numerous grandchildren.   She is also survived by her 
sister-in-law Aileen McGinnis.
