Donald was born on February 23, 1926 to Arthur C. and Ethel G. Thomas in 
Walla Walla, WA.

He served in World War II as a radio operator in the Merchant Marines.  At 
the beginning of the Korean War he was drafted into the Army Air Force.

He married Audrey Peterson in Tyler, MN after his service.

Don is survived by his son Kevin Arthur Thomas (Frances), daughters Kathryn 
Thomas Walkley, Karen Thomas Scott (George), Jane Thomas Bigelow (James.
