Charles was born in Seattle (dying at the age of 77), the son of George 
"Phil" and Annice Treanor.

He was a member of the US Air Force and was a navigator on B47s during the 
Viet Nam war, flew throughout Europe, North Africa and Asia, and was part of 
the NASA Gemini recovery crew.

Charley was predeceased by his parents, his son Charles, brother Richard 
Ahrens, sister Persis Fleury.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn, daughters Shannon Soady (Doug) and Erin 
Kelbaugh (Michael), sister Janice Lavigne.
