June was born April 25, 1935 in Seattle, WA to Kuro and Setsuko Nakano.

During World War II she was interned at Minidoka in Idaho, with other Japanese
Americans.

In 1954 she married Ken Yamamoto.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ken Yamamoto.

She is survived by broth John Nakano.
