Zoe was born June 9, 1917 to Eric Morris Smith and Bessie Wooldridge Smith in
Okanogan, WA.

She taught PE at Roosevelt and Nathan Hale High Schools.   She was a National
Badminton Champion in Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Runner up in Woman's
Singles and was inducted into the Badminton Hall of Fame.
