Augusta "Gussie" SWANSON'S wedding day to Charles William FRIEND, February 27, 
1897.  

Additional Comments:
Augusta SWANSON FRIEND 1875-1965; Charles William FRIEND 1871-1942.  Both were 
immigrants.  Augusta followed her sister (Thilda SWANSON BECKER, Issaquah, 
King, WA) from Sweden in 1889.  Charles immigrated with his parents, John 
FRIEND and Esther JENKINS and three sibilings from Bitton, Gloucester, England 
in 1880 through the Port of Buffalo. They briefly lived in Clearfield County, 
PA but by 1890 moved to the Issaquah/Gilman area.  Gussie and Charles 
initially made their home in Gilman, King, WA but soon moved to Tono, 
Thurston, WA (near Centralia, Lewis, WA) and, subsequently, to Centralia, 
Lewis, WA.  Their five children were born in Issaquah and Centralia.
