1) The initial document is a "Birth Return" (No.6607) that shows a legitimate 
child named "FRIEND" was born on August 23, 1899 in Issaquah, County of King.  
It was signed and dated by the doctor on 8-28-1899 and filed by the county on 
10-5-1899.  
2) On 10-29-1942 a Certificate of Birth was signed by Dr. Corson that shows 
Wilbert Coster FRIEND as the child's name.  It shows the Charles Wm FRIEND as 
a mine foreman in the coal industry and residing in Issaquah, WA.  Augusta 
SWANSON FRIEND is shown as a housewife.  Charles' birthplace is incorrectly 
shown as Bristolie England.  Augusta's birthplace is incorrectly shown as 
Sweden (Humlarp).  The doctor indicates that the information is provided based 
on his records.  There is no evidence that this form was recorded by the 
county.
3) On March 10, 1964, an Affidavit for Correction of Birth Record (No.673) was 
filed with King County.  Augusta certified that she was the natural mother of 
Wilbert Coster FRIEND, born in the city of Issaquah on the 23rd day of August 
1899.  It appears that the purpose of this affidavit is to correct the 
original Birth Return (1899) that listed only "FRIEND" as the name of the 
child.
