Mr. DeWees was born in Kentucky and came to Ellensburg in 1902, taking a farm here which he worked until a few years ago when he moved to the city. He leaves a wife, Mrs. W. S. DeWees, and six daughters, Ina DeWees and Mrs. Ellis Davis, both of Ellensburg, and four daughters living in Kansas; and four sons, George W. and E. B. DeWees, both of Ellensburg, R. G.
