Ezra [obit says Ed], 83, well-known retired Ellensburg contractor, died at a
local hospital Monday [January 6, 1941], following a lengthy illness.

A resident of Ellensburg for 37 years, he was widely known throughout this
section.  For many years he contracted excavation work and house moving here.

He is survived by two sons, Jess of Ellensburg and Harry of Malden,
Washington, and a daughter, Mrs. Stella McDevitt of Spokane.  He was a member
of the Masonic Lodge.  Funeral services were held Wednesday from the Honeycutt
Chapel.
