Mrs. Nell Wheeler Harder, member of a pioneer family and former Ellensburg
resident, died Sunday [July 9, 1972] at Torrance, California, following an
illness of two years.  

She was born in Ellensburg, Sept. 22, 1902, and lived here until 1957 when
she moved to California.  While in Ellensburg she worked for 25 years at
Morgan's Department Store.

She is survived by her husband, John L. Harder of Torrance, and a
stepdaughter Marcene Ross of Los Angeles.  Numerous cousins and other
relatives, including nieces and nephew, also survive.

Services for Mrs. Harder will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Evensons with the Rev
Albert Sweet officiating.  Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
