Jochimsen, 60, resident of Ellensburg since 1951, who died Wednesday, Nov. 26 at American Lake Veterans Hospital [Tacoma], will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Evenson's Chapel. The Rev. Albert Sweet will officiate. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery. Born Nov. 21, 1909 at Estacada, Ore., he was married to Ruth Koester, March 30, 1942 in Yakima. He was employed at Western Farmers in Yakima, prior to coming to Ellensburg in 1951. He also was employed at Western Farmers here. Jochimsen was a veteran of Army service in World War II. He is survived by his wife, Ruth at the family home, 213 E. Eighth; a son, LaVere Jochimsen, Monroe; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Goodhue, Grandview, and Mrs. George, Most, Lebanon, Ore.
