Geneva Lee, native Ellensburg resident, died at Bernath Nursing Home, Monday,
Jan. 20 [1969], at the age of 81.  She was born here July 11, 1887, and moved
to Waterville as a small child, she later returned to Ellensburg to make her
home.

She was married to William Mack Lee, Oct. 5, 1904 in North Yakima.  He
preceded her in death in 1949.  They farmed here in the Valley and were the
owners of race horses.

They made their home at 804 E. 4th St., were members of the Christian Church.
She is survived by one son, Melvin Lee, Seattle; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Dean
Hortin, Manson, Wash.; and three step grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at the Evenson Chapel, Thursday, Jan. 23, 10 a.m.
Rev. Maurice Swisher will officiate and burial will follow in the IOOF
Cemetery.
