Arne Jess Rose, 71 died February 17th at Centralia Providence from Respiratory 
failure. 

He was born March 2, 1934 to Walter and Edith Rose. He attended Mossyrock 
schools. In his younger years he loved to ride his Harley. As he got older, he 
loved to Antique and socialize. He never knew a stranger. After leaving 
Mossyrock, he met and married Pat Kadelski. He moved his family from Riffe, WA 
to Toledo, WA in 1963. He worked for Emperial Metals. He was a shake sawyer and 
shake inspector. In 1967 he and his wife Pat, built and operated Rose Cedar 
Products. They supplied roofing for local and out of state homes and 
businesses. They went on to build and operate Lone Yew Trading Post (Antique 
Store) for several years. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Pat Rose of 38 Years. Parents Walter and 
Edith Rose. His sister Grace Boje. 

He is survived by a son Jim (Amy) Rose, Kelso WA. Twin Daughters: Donna (Ray) 
Andrews, Toledo WA and Diana (LeRoy) Andrews, Toledo WA; two Brothers: Reuben 
(Jo) Rose, Glenoma WA, Arland (Sharon) Rose, Sequim, WA. Grandchildren: Christi 
(Brad) Marcil, Toledo WA, Greg (Ginnette) Andrews, Kelso WA, Nikki (Geri) 
Davidson, Toledo WA. Julie Andrew, Toledo WA, Heather (Mike) Taylor, Pasco WA, 
Jessie Rose, Kelso WA; Great Grandchildren: Briar, Hayden, Dawson, Bryce, 
Abbie. He also left behind several nieces and nephews. 


Funeral services will be held at The Mossyrock Assembly of God in Mossyrock on 
March 4, 2006 at 11:00am. A potluck will follow at The Lone Yew Grange in 
Toledo, WA.
