Follow Higway 21 north for a little more than six miles, then bear to the right on Deife Road for about four miles to Zagelow Road. Follow Zagelow east one mile to Quast Road. The cemetery lies just north of that intersection on the west side of the road. The cemetery is fenced and high over the gate in wrought iron letters is the name 'Freedensfeld.' At one time the cemetery may have been rectangular but now is straight on the road side and curved on the field side. The ground is bare, apparently the soil has been sterilized. There are humps indicating a few more burials than the stones indicate. Two graves are marked with funeral home placards, but there is no data. The cemetery was read on Oct. 10, 1999 by Pat Rice and Marge Womach. The stones, beginning at the south end of the cemetery, are: 1.
